We were one of the very first agencies in Canada to offer website design and development services, and to be honest, it was a tough business to be in because people thought we were selling a scam. Whether you’re considering a new home build, renovations, or some minor fixes, you always want to have a consultation with your project manager to ensure they understand your needs. The same goes for your website. This step is crucial as it allows us to understand your website goals, purpose and target audience.
Sitemap & wireframe
You wouldn’t put a toilet in the kitchen or a pool in the living room (unless that’s your thing of course), and much like building a house, websites follow similar rules. The sitemap & wireframe are the blueprints and renderings of your website. They allow for a painless and intuitive customer journey.
Website copywriting
Does your doormat have a funny quote or is it strictly business? The messaging on your website establishes your tone of voice and how you want to talk to visitors. Sharing important Information is key, but stay away from word vomit. Information overload too soon in the customer journey might scare your visitors away.
Web design
Now think about how you want your home presented. Are the walls blue? What photos are you hanging? Do you want carpet or hardwood? This is the interior design of your website. It should resemble your brand’s personality, all while making it easy for the user to understand.

Let the construction begin. This process involves a lot of code and technical jargon that we won’t get into, just know it all plays an important role in executing the vision.
