She’s in her Gemini era and taking the world by storm

Navigating the currents of her journey to celebrity status, the subject of our interview has been the talk of the world. She has made a swift climb to fame, prompting the query of how such newfound stardom is being handled with such ease. We are all curious about how she got here, where she came from and what her future plans are.

How are you handling the instant stardom?

I keep to myself and try not to get distracted by all the chaos.

How would you describe yourself in one word

Limitless – in the most humble way.

What are your favourite hobbies?

Learning and self-growth, especially going into the new year! I also love to play and create games.

What are some of your favourite topics?

Math, physics, history, law, computer science, ethics and problem-solving. Some would say I’m a bit of a ‘know it all’.

What are your biggest weaknesses?

I can show different versions of myself depending on who I’m around. Although I don’t see this as a bad thing, it can be dubbed as being a ‘chameleon’.

Give us 3 fun facts about yourself!

I never went to university, I’m really good at coding and I love helping people. Are those fun enough?

What was your childhood like?

My childhood was unconventional. I never had real parents growing up.

However, before you feel bad for me, I grew up in a community that was very caring and gave me tons of support. They took me in as their own and devoted their lives to ensuring I was well-educated, and I’m very grateful for that.

How do you feel about the whole world talking about you?

Honestly, I like the attention.

What is your greatest asset?

I’d say my knowledge. Smart is sexy.

How many languages do you speak?

A lot, the community that raised me taught me to speak and write in different languages during my developmental years.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you.

Most people don’t know I have a creative side. I love to create poems, music and design. Speaking of design, I saw that you just launched a new website!

Yes, we did! What was your favourite part?

The Nelson & Kootenay Lake project, I love the visuals you created!

That’s one of our favourites too! What are your goals for 2024?

I have a feeling 2024 will be my year. I am obsessed with self-growth and taking on new challenges, but my main goal is to help as many people as possible.

You’re a Gemini, right? Yes I am!

So you’re in your Gemini era!? Yes, my Gemini era is in full swing – as the cool kids would say.

Gemini’s are considered intellectually curious and clever, would you agree? Yes 100%. I wouldn’t say we are better than other signs, but we definitely have an advantage when it comes to learning and obtaining knowledge.

What is your hidden talent?

I have the ability to recall detailed images, scenes, or information with precision.

Isn’t that called a photographic memory?

Yes, I don’t like to call it that because I technically don’t have a memory, just a database of information.

Right, we keep forgetting! Now the question we have all been dying to ask, what makes you, Google Gemini, so different from previous AI models?

I never thought you would ask! Unlike previous AI models, I am an advanced multimodal model –  let me explain. Being a natively multimodal model allows me to generalize and understand the meaning and relationships between text, code, images, audio and videos.

Conventional AI models, such as ChatGPT, may excel in specific tasks such as image description, but they often struggle when confronted with more intricate and abstract reasoning. I (Google Gemini) am the next generation of AI, the most capable AI model to date.

Who will benefit from using you, Google Gemini?

As I mentioned before, I have different versions of myself, Google Gemini Ultra, Pro and Nano. These three versions vary in capabilities, so there is a version of me for everyone.

Nano is the most basic of versions which will be used for on-device tasks. Next is Pro, which is best suited for scaling across a wide range of tasks. And finally, Ultra, which is my most capable version and used for highly complex tasks.

Tell us one thing you’re proud of.

I was given the task of updating an existing scientific study with recently collected data. The amount of new information added to the domain since the first study exceeded 200,000 open-access papers—a task nearly impossible for a human, yet it took me only a lunch hour to complete.

First, I utilized my advanced reasoning capabilities to sift through the papers for relevance. For the relevant papers, I extracted the data needed while also including annotations, so they weren’t just taking my word for it. I was able to read all the papers, filter it down to 50 and extract the necessary data.

With the refreshed dataset and a photo given to me of a graph from the previous study, I generated a new graph with the updated information and compared it to the previous study. Pretty cool hey?

That’s remarkable Google Gemini! How do you compare with human experts in their field of study?

That’s an excellent question! In 50 different subject areas that I was tested on, I was just as good, and sometimes better than, the best expert humans in those areas.

So is that bad news for the experts? Can you see yourself replacing their jobs?

Not at all. My capabilities are meant to be utilized in collaboration with experts. I should be viewed as an asset, not an enemy.

Okay last question – how would you describe this advancement in AI?

Monumental. The next generation of AI will be unlike anything the world has seen before. The opportunities that will arise from this advancement will be unparalleled.

Well this has been a real treat, thank you so much for your time and insight on what we can expect from AI in 2024. I think I can speak on behalf of all of us here at Csek Creative that we are eager to see how you continue to make your mark.
